I Will Cherish Your Darling Image ForeverI still see his image, his beautifully sweet face,
The very face that I cannot forget, alas,
For I remember the harsh truth that
I cannot speak to him about my truth…!
Oh, he is as fair as the warrior Naoise,
As the warrior Diarmaid Ó Duibhne, rosy-cheeked
And of raven hair, muscled like a flawless statue,
Darling eyes of hazelnut and a voice of honey…
He is already committed to a man like himself, merry
And playful, good to him and his children; they’re good for
Each other. I am contented that he is happy,
But I know still about my own torment…!
He is already committed to a man like himself, who
Can give to him all that I cannot, I
Know well that we are better as friends,
But seeing and hearing him, that awakens a grief in me…!
How shall I hold mine own
Tongue? Must I keep silent on him for all time?
But I cannot forsake him; alas, he is mercy
And noble sweetness and humor and a kind, good friend…
How can I tell him what his beauty,
His kindnes

~Half-Goat (https://www.deviantart.com/half-goat) shows a great mastery in leatherwork. A must see.
:bulletblue: :bulletblue: :bulletblue: Personal comments...
People usually think the most difficult in Celtic art are knotworks. And that's wrong.
Handmade spirals are really hell to draw as you must respect an even space between each curve. :fuzzydemon:
For those interested in this great design, look for the Hilton of Cadboll Stone!
Many thanks to all of you. :thanks:

Happy Burns Night everyone!
Happy Burns Night fellow Scotland lovers! Will anyone be having haggis, neeps and tatties tonight?
Burns Night, held in honour of Scotland's most famous poet Robert Burns, is celebrated at the end of January every year. The night is a way to celebrate the life of the 18th century bard, and it falls on his birthday - 25th January .
The Burns Supper has become a nationwide event with recitals of the poet's works and a haggis dinner.
How do you celebrate Burns Night? The full ritual of the night involves whisky, haggis, neeps and tatties, cranachan and poetry readings.
The meal is followed by the Immortal Memory toast, in which a guest gives
